The Last Decade
This body of work is an exploration of a place in which I spent almost a decade of my life, the small Catholic School grade school I attended. Returning several years later, I saw the place with new eyes as I realized the environment there was very different than what many kids experienced in larger public schools. Whereas before the school's religious nature blended into the background of my awareness, now I examined the space more critically, revisiting childhood memories and my new understanding of the place.
